HIM Sr. Consultant
As a professional HIM department director or manager with Precyse, you will take
responsibility for your client's every challenge, large and small from filling
a key vacancy to identifying needs for performance improvement and developing work
plans to guide operations. You will focus on monitoring, measuring and reporting
on key metrics critical to your client's success, including record completion, DNFB,
A/R days and turnaround times.
The Precyse DHIM Consulting team consists of more than 30 colleagues located across
18 states. Each DHIM consultant receives a full orientation upon hire. All orientation
programs are done via our PrecysePoint system, and all colleagues also benefit from
having access to a state-of-the-art online training program called Precyse University.
In addition, ongoing support is available to each DHIM consultant. Weekly meetings
are held with a dedicated management team, and Precyse is committed to providing
ICD-10 train the trainer programs for all coding managers.

What we look for:
- RHIA/RHIT required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's
- Minimum of 7 years HIM Director experience in at least two 200-bed facilities required;
hospital information system experience required. Previous consulting experience
- Required HIM skills: DNFB management, CMS regulations, JCAHO standards knowledge,
HIPAA knowledge. Preferred skills: project management, electronic record implementation
and re-engineering, MPI cleanup, operational assessment, business process redesign,
outsource transcription management, compliance regulations knowledge, staffing,
